Let's start our journey at New Women Space on a mindful note! Join us with Miriam Bekkouche for a 30 minute guided meditation where we'll use science-based techniques to increase calm, improve focus and prevent stress.

Miriam Bekkouche founded Your Brain Spa to help people cultivate happiness and well-being while living a life with purpose. She completed classes with the Silva Method, the Art of Living, the Himalayan Tradition, and Stanford’s Compassion Cultivation Training.Â
Yoga is magic. No matter how a pose looks on you, the practice of embodying shapes begins to internally cultivate a subtle alchemical process and an intentional mindfulness. Using asana, pranayama, meditation and nidra, we will explore how how we engage with ourselves and with others in the world.Â
Aditi Shah is a yoga teacher based in New York City who has been learning and practicing yoga from a young age. Her love of movement led her to deepen her connection to yoga while she spent 5 years abroad in India. She is a mentor at Yoga Vida and a lead volunteer for the East Coast arm of the non-profit organization Yoga Gives Back.

How does our brain translate scent, from molecules in your nose to memories, images, sensations in the mind? Join us for a fascinating workshop where we'll learn the process of creating a new scent using raw materials and chemistry. You'll also get a chance to help New Women Space find our own signature scent!

Dana El Masri is an indie perfumer and olfactive writer. She is the founder of Parfums Jazmin Saraï -  a collection of perfumes inspired by songs and Synesthesia. Dana’s work focusses on scent, music and culture, and finding the connections between all three.Â
Take poetry from the page to the mat with this interactive, meditative, movement based workshop with Alyzeh Ashraff. Together we'll exercise our creative writing as well as our movements to express mantra in motion.

Alyzeh Ashraff is a yoga teacher based in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, New York. She currently teaches vinyasa classes at New Love City in addition to personalized sessions at offices around the city. She describes her flows and classes to be clear and straightforward - perfect for a beginner student yet with enough advanced technique to keep any level student engaged and challenged.
Drinks will be provided. Music will be played. Joyful movement and dancing highly encouraged! Come help us celebrate the opening of New Women Space by blessing the space with your good energy, laugher and love!Â
